About me
I am Hacer Uygun Aydogan — ESL teacher, aspiring school leader, and proud member of Concept Schools Aspiring Leaders Program Cohort II.
I began my teaching career in Hungary in 2010 and have since taught in Venezuela, Iraq, and now Cleveland, Ohio — where I serve students at HSA Denison Middle School. Across 15 years and four countries, I have worked with 400+ students, coached teachers, led school improvement initiatives, and built bridges between families and schools in three languages.
This year I completed the Harvard Graduate School of Education Leading Learning course — I also learning from Concept Schools buildings, gaining deep insight into what great school leadership looks like at every level.
I am passionate about multilingual learners, cultural responsiveness, and equity. I believe that every high-potential student deserves to be seen — regardless of their language barrier. My goal is to lead a school where every child belongs, every teacher grows, and every family feels valued.
I am excited to be at the Leadership Summit and to learn alongside the best educators in our network!
